Install on Custom HTML.

Got a hand-coded site, a static host, or a developer who manages it for you? Takes about 2 minutes once you're in the right file.

ONE LINE OF CODE6 STEPS

00 · BEFORE_YOU_START
A few things to have ready
Do this on a laptop or desktop — copying code is much easier than on a phone.
Access to edit your website's HTML files — directly, via your hosting control panel, or through your developer
Your Jarvis embed code, copied from the Launch page · about 2 minutes
1
STEP 01 · 06
Copy your embed code

Open your Jarvis dashboard and go to Launch. Copy the full <script> snippet — it's the line that starts with <script src="https://getjarvis.in/widget.js" and ends with </script>.

2
STEP 02 · 06
Find where to paste it

How you do this depends on how your site is hosted:

FTP or file manager access (cPanel, hosting dashboard)? Open your site's main HTML file — usually index.html.
Site builder with a "custom code" or "embed" section (Webflow, Framer, Carrd)? Open that panel from your site settings.
A developer or agency manages your site? Forward them this guide with your embed code and ask them to add it sitewide.
3
STEP 03 · 06
Paste the snippet before </body>

Scroll to the very bottom of your HTML and paste your embed code right before the closing </body> tag. It should look roughly like this:

<script src="https://getjarvis.in/widget.js"
        data-jw-site="YOUR-SITE-ID-HERE"
        async></script>
</body>

Pasting before </body> means the widget loads after your page content, so it never slows down how fast your site appears.

4
STEP 04 · 06
Save and publish your changes

Save the file you just edited. Editing locally? Hit Ctrl+S on Windows or Cmd+S on Mac. Using a site builder's custom code panel? Hit Save or Publish — whichever button your platform shows.

5
STEP 05 · 06
Re-upload or republish your site

Saving the file isn't enough on its own — your site needs to be live with the new code. Wherever it's hosted (hosting provider, FTP, or site builder dashboard), make sure your changes are published or re-uploaded. Not sure how? Email jarvisforcontact@gmail.com and we'll walk you through it — free during beta.

STEP 06 · 06
Check your live site
● LIVE

Open your website in a new browser tab. You should see the Jarvis chat bubble in the bottom-right corner. Click it, ask a question your site can answer, and confirm it responds correctly.
